It began as a small take away counter, with a structure just strong enough to control the extreme weather conditions in the city. A matchbox kitchen with a single clay tandoor and a cooking range serving limited tandoori delicacies and biryanis, which would evolve as their signature dishes later.
There were fast food joints and formal restaurants. However, what Mr.Sakhi visioned was to create a special menu, which would be available at his eating joint but in much quick service format and at reasonable price.
Thus, with this thought, the The take away restaurant was started, but little did he know at the time, that he was going to create what is now referred to as the take away food industry in the city, which has changed the dining trend in the city since then.
From that moment on, the evening meal or the late dinner took on a completely new meaning. The place quickly turned into the place to be for great food served in a quick time on any day.
The take away station has been continuously evolving ever since its birth, adding a whole new menu continuing to deliver the right quality and consistency to its customers.
